How to start your XO Quick Conference as chairperson

There's no need for special equipment or the need to book in advance. Simply follow the instructions below to start using XO Quick Conference today.

Step 1:

Invite the people you wish to meet with and share with them the following information:

  • Date, time, and time zone of the meeting
  • Participant passcode (followed by the # sign)
  • The appropriate local dial-in numbers for each international participant which you can find on the website address below:
    www.xoconferencing.com/globalaccess

You can also inform your participants on how they can find their local dial-in number for the conference call that they have been invited to. You will be required to share with your participants the Global Access URL link for your account, which you will find in your XO Quick Conference account welcome email*.

Step 2:

  • At the start of your meeting, look up and dial your local XO Quick Conference dial-in number which is most convenient to you and then follow the prompts**.
  • Then enter your chairperson's passcode, followed by #.
  • Participants to follow the same instructions and enter their participant passcode, followed by #.
  • To prevent fraudulent use please do not share your chairperson's passcode.

You can also inform your participants on how they can find their local dial-in number for the conference call that they have been invited to. You will be required to share with your participants the Global Access URL link for your account, which you will find in your XO Quick Conference account welcome email*.

Step 3:

That's it! You will be joined together with your participants on the call and your meeting can begin.

Handy hint

Please advise your participants if they enter the meeting before you, they will be placed on hold in the conference listening to music until you join. If you or your participants are travelling, remind them to print out the dial-in details to take with them.

** If you or your participants have difficulties connecting to your local dial-in numbers, please try an alterative local access number. These rare difficulties can be due to telephone network issues which are outside of XO's control.

What are Global Access Numbers?

XO Quick Conference Numbers allow international participants to dial into conference calls using local dial-in numbers instead of an international dial-in number. Local numbers are easier to dial and more cost-effective than international numbers.

How do I use them?

Simply find your local access dial-in number which you wish to use by viewing your complete list of XO Quick Conference Global Access numbers.

Once you have selected your local dial-in number, follow the 3 steps explained in the above How to conduct an XO Quick Conference Call section, to start your meeting.
